A Note from HEGG Owners Dave and Justin
Apr 16, 2020Ok so it’s been a while since we posted on the HEGG blog, and with all our newfound free time we figured why not?
In all seriousness, we wanted to reach out to our customers and friends and say thank you for your support during this uncertain time. A few days ago, we posted a thank you video to our social media feeds, and the response to that has been even better than we imagined (we posted the video below so you can see it if you missed it). The amount of encouragement and positivity that we have received is absolutely amazing, and we cannot tell you how much it means to us. In this unprecedented time, there is a lot of nervousness and unknowns, and being small business owners adds another layer of stress into the mix. But because we have so many amazing customers and friends, we know we will make it through this and come out stronger than ever.
We will continue to offer the best possible customer service we can throughout this time of social distancing, and as such, we have implemented virtual appointments. We are meeting with customers to discuss their projects via Zoom, FaceTime or a simple phone call in order to answer questions and get customers quotes while still being as safe as possible. As with many of you, virtual meetings are new to us, so we are learning as fast as we can. We will do our absolute best to answer all of your questions and get you the information you need for your project, even if we aren’t quite the Zoom experts yet. For more information on virtual appointments, you can click here.
For our customers with pending installs, we understand that you may be nervous about getting your project completed. Our crews are still working, and we will continue to install projects while following State and CDC guidelines to the best of our abilities. For the duration of the Stay at Home Order from Governor DeWine, we are installing projects at commercial properties and vacant homes in order to minimize our customer contact. Once the Stay at Home order is lifted, we will resume our installs in occupied homes. Our Office Manager Tracie will be contacting each of you (if she has not already) to discuss your project in detail and go over a tentative installation date. While this date is tentative, we want to give you an idea of when we plan on completing your project. As always, customer safety is paramount, so we will coordinate with you to make sure you are comfortable throughout the process.
We know these past few weeks have been tough for everyone, but we are so amazed to see how lucky we really are to have such a great group surrounding HEGG Windows & Doors. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
Dave and Justin
